Cozy Corner & Co helps families create calm, child-centered spaces that support better behavior, smoother routines, and emotional well-being. With over 50 years of combined experience in early childhood education, we understand how much your environment shapes how your children feel and act. We design and organize homes with intention, using natural materials, muted tones, and personalized layouts to bring peace into your daily life. We work with families who are overwhelmed, overstimulated, and ready for change.
Part parenting whisperers, part home organizers. They come into your home, help things run more smoothly—emotionally and physically—and leave you with routines that stick and spaces that actually work.

Heather Gilbert-Garson holds a Master’s degree in Education from UC Santa Barbara and has decades of experience supporting children and families. Her work focuses on emotional development, neurodivergent support, and designing home environments that meet each family’s unique needs. She lives with her husband Mark, their two sons—Jacob, a senior at Cal Lutheran University, and Max, a sophomore at the University of Southern California—and their much-loved dog, Zane.
We design cozy, developmentally supportive spaces that help kids feel safe, focused, and happy.
We create spaces where creativity and calm can live side-by-side. Play with purpose, not clutter.
We provide insight and simple tools to help you understand your child’s needs and reduce chaos at home.
We clear the clutter and bring a fresh start that supports your family’s flow and connection.
We specialize in child-led setups that honor sensory needs and reduce overwhelm for all kinds of kids.
Research shows that too much noise, clutter, or stimulation can overwhelm young kids. As members of NAEYC and NAREA with over 50 years in early childhood education, we’ve seen firsthand how a calm, intentional home helps children thrive. A cozy, well-organized space helps them feel safe, calm, and emotionally steady which brings peace to the whole family.
We believe space shapes how families interact. With experience designing physical environments in schools for 17 years, we use layouts that invite play, movement, and shared routines. A clutter-free setup not only makes daily life easier but also improves attention, sparks creativity, and builds stronger bonds between parents and kids.
Children build confidence when their environment respects their needs. Our approach uses child-height furniture, clear organization, and calming colors to support independence and self-regulation. Every detail is chosen with care, helping children feel seen and supported while giving parents a greater sense of control and clarity.
